The key to making this whole thing work is to keep the image dimensions in perspective. Here we cropped the top image to make the top left corner, we made the image 16x16.
Next we cropped the width of the 2nd image of the Top row to make the Top Middle image. Again, we chose to make this image is 16x16.
Here we cropped the width of the 3rd Top image to make the Top Right corner. We used the same height as the other two top images, but we made this image wider, with a size of 24x16, because of the shadow effect.
