Windows XP Resources

I recently converted my main computer to Windows XP Home - I have the Service Pack 2 as well. Here are some sites I have found to "help" with the changeover.

Please note that some of these require diddling with the registry, so the standard disclaimer goes - if you don't know what you're doing, then do it at your own risk - don't come crying to me or these sites about it, lol.

Microsoft's Windows XP page - lots of neat downloads as well links to the Knowledgebase for searching out issues/problems.

Bob Cerelli's Windows XP Tips Page - not a fancy page, but loaded with good info and he also provides registry files to handle the modifications to the registry that some tips require - nice touch Bob.

FreePCTech's WindowsXP Tips & Tricks Page - looks like lots of duplication here, but in some cases it's actually more than one way to do the same thing.  Also appears there are some differences in the Home versus Professional version of XP and that some of these tips do not apply to all machines. This site uses a pop up to display the tip, so if you have popups blocked, you may not see them.

Tech TV's Windows XP Tips & Tricks Page - this site feels a bit slow to me, but I did find some tips her that I didn't find on other sites.

Windows-Help.NET page of XP Tips and How-Tos - this site has some advertising popups, they are blocked on my machine, but they don't appear related to the tips.
